July , 1999
TeleSynergy's
TelePCX is an PC-based PBX with built-in auto attendant and
voicemail system housed in a single server. You get web-based
unified messaging capability (integrated with TeleUMS), IVR
(interactive voice response), FOD (fax-on-demand), desktop
call control with caller ID capability, and ACD.
What's
your next phone system going to look like? Today's CT market
offers an abundance of powerful - and seemingly divergent
- solutions. But unifying principles are fast emerging, as
today's trailblazing niche products claim portions of tomorrow's
integrated telecom landscape.

a single server. You get web-based unified messaging (integrated

TelePCX
runs on Windows NT or Windows 95. It's based on TeleSynergy's
412 PBX board, which supports four ports by 12 extensions
and two ports of voice for voice processing features. If you
add the switch board, or the voice board, the TelePCX can
support up to 48 ports and 96 extensions. Network compliance
supports TCP/IP protocol.
With an
IP telephony board, TelePCX can receive incoming calls, distribute
them, and make outgoing calls through IP network. However,
it won't be H.323-compatible until the fourth quarter.
