TeleSynergy Research successfully implement the world largest governments VoIP system for Taipei City Government
2006/11/30
Taipei, the recipient
of 2006 Intelligent Community of the Year, was announced as
one of the ten finalists for the second annual Wireless Communities
Best Practices in November 2006 and now completes the world
largest government’s VoIP system
The scope of Taipei
City Government’s VoIP system includes Taipei city council
and other departments (164 in total) and 234 public schools.
The contractor, TeleSynergy, said “It is a great honor
for a local company like TeleSynergy to clinch the deal, especially
all the competitors are international companies with strong
competitiveness”.
TeleSynergy successfully
provides the comprehensive communication solution for Taipei
City Government with its mature R&D ability and rich implementation
experience. In aspect of technical skills, TeleSynergy’s
VoIP system, not like the most network construction needs
to reorganize its original network environment, is deployed
under the existing network infrastructure that Taipei City
Government already has. This not only can simplify the implementation
process but also minimize the risk of migrating the traditional
phone system to VoIP system. Furthermore, TeleSynergy uses
its signal integration know-how to integrate the two different
telephone systems of Taipei City Government and Education
Department enabling their staffs or citizens to communicate
via webcall on the websites or VoIP system. The integration
scale is expected to be expanded to other cities in Taiwan
to maximize the benefits.
Owing to the insistency
and execution ability of Taipei City Government, this case
could be implemented smoothly and successfully. TeleSynergy
anticipates that this successful VoIP implantation experience
can be duplicated to other governments in Taiwan even promoted
to governments all over the world. Make Taiwan’s high
technology image more impressive in everybody’s mind
globally!
